TO VERIFY : Exterior angles Property of a Triangle

PROOF :

  • Let the exterior angle be angle 4
  • Let the interior angles be angle 1, angle 2 ,angle 3

= 1 + 2 + 3 = 180(angle sum prop.)

= 3 + 4 = 180(linear pair)

= 1 + 2 + 3 = 3 + 4

= 1 + 2 + 3 - 3 = 4

= 1 + 2 = 4 (proved)
