Verification of expression of work done both graphically and theoritically .

  • In this kind of derivations , we need to apply WORK-ENERGY THEOREM.

  • The net work done by all the forces will be equal to the change in kinetic energy of the object.

 \therefore \: W_{force}  = \Delta KE

 \implies\: W_{force}  =  \dfrac{1}{2} m {v}^{2}  - 0

 \implies\: W_{force}  =  \dfrac{1}{2} m {v}^{2}

 \implies\: W_{force}  =  \dfrac{1}{2} m( {u}^{2}   + 2as)

 \implies\: W_{force}  =  \dfrac{1}{2} m( {0}^{2}   + 2as)

 \implies\: W_{force}  =  \dfrac{1}{2} m(  2as)

 \implies\: W_{force}  =  m \times a \times s

 \implies\: W_{force}  =  (m \times a) \times s

 \implies\: W_{force}  =  F\times s

[Hence Verified]

  • Graphical method in diagram.
