What is Rectangle ?

→ A Rectangle is a parallelogram whose each angle is a right angle.

Properties :-

  • Opposite sides are equal.
  • Each angle measures 90°
  • Diagonals are equal.
  • Diagonals bisects each other.

To verify :-

  • The sum of all angles of a rectangle is 360°

Solution:

Here, ABCD is a rectangle.

By the property of rectangle, we know,

Each angle measures 90°

∠A = ∠B = ∠C = ∠D = 90°

∠A + ∠B + ∠C + ∠D = 360°

90 + 90 + 90 + 90 = 360

180 + 180 = 360

360 = 360
