I can give u the answer with some extra info too. See the reaction below :-
2AgCl(s) → 2Ag(s) + Cl2(g)
(white) (black
or grey)
This reaction is a decomposition reaction caused by sunlight and so the name Photodecomposition reaction . When AgCl which is white, is exposed to sunlight, it decomposes into silver which is grey with a yellowish green gas which is chlorine.
