Amanda is a teen, in a period when a person indulge in fantasies. She wants to enjoy her dreamy world, where she lives alone being a mermaid, sometimes Rupenzel and an orphan as well. But her mother constantly nags, controls and gives her unpleasant instructions. And this is the reason she wants to be alone like the characters in her dreams. Amanda's wish is justifiable as every child wants to possess freedom and noone wants to be dictated. But by doing so, she is escaping from world's realities and her responsibilities in the real world.
