To what extent can intrapersonal conflict affect choice of career

whenever we think about our career then the first think comes in our mind that what I am going to choose can make my life prosperous and luxurious. is my decision will make me popular, is it will give me fame. We should think about how our decision will affect our lives one, is it will make us happy.
if we will make our passion our profession then this would bring happiness in our life and if we will be happy then we will rule the both... wealth as well as health.
various people have different mentality and thus there decision as well as suggestions both are can be far different from ours so if we have potential then one should listen to his heart. As choices makes the difference.

First of all, lets figure out what is intarpersonal conflict. Intrapersonal means 'within the mind'. This becomes conflict when we are unable to decide between 'what we should' and 'what we want'.

There is no clear answer to what extent this conflict affects the choice of career as every one is different and face different challenges and have different struggles.

However, intrapersonal conflict confuses the person and he is stuck between the choices.  This conflict may be created by parents, relatives, peers, etc.

The conflict may lead to wrong choice also. So, it is better to keep oneself calm and not get into intrapersonal conflict.
