With the fourteenth amendment, any citizen in any state of the United States will get equal rights as long as anyone else, no matter sex, religion, or whatever the reason may be. With the Fourteenth Amendment being in place it eliminates segregation, racism, and discrimination to a whole different extent. If the Fourteenth Fmendment was to have never occured, everyone and anyone could come across these things without much problems due to the unfortunate things that occur in our current society today.
