v = √(3kT/M)

v = (√3k/M) √T

At temperature 327 °C = 600 K,

v = (√3k/M) √600

At half the previous velocity,

v' = v/2

(√3k/M) √T' = (√3k/M) √600 / 2

(√3k/M) √T' = (√3k/M) √150

T' = 150 K

T' = 150 - 273 ℃

T' = −123 ℃
