SAINTS in olden days use the leaves for medicine. They believed if they were formed by the nature then the answer to all their problems would also be nature. So they went up choosing plants for medical course and were successful and formed the AYURVEDA . It may not be popular now but is and will always be more effective than current bottle medicine.
