British belongs to the country England. They came in India in 1600 as a trading company. But slowly they started interfairing in the internal matters of the rulers. Their greatest enemy was French. There was a series of three wars against French known as Carnatic wars. And after these wars, french were completely defeated and their dream to govern india was broken. Slowly, the britishers captured bengal, mysore, Marathas, Sikhs and the whole India was captured by the britishers.
