Dear moorthy,
Yesterday was Bani’s birthday and I had gone over to his house for a party. Bani is my best friend, as you know. I saved up money for six month and bought a watch for him . he was so happy!
Bani is such a gentle person, so well-mannered and very good at studies. Because he stays so close by, we study together most of the time. No doubt I benefit from him more than he does from me. But he doesn’t seem to mind.
I trust Bani completely and he trusts me too. We tell each other all our secrets, knowing that we will never betray each other. I am so lucky to have such a good friend. I have many other friends who come to play with me , but Bani is the best. Both of us have the same hobbies. We share storybooks and exchange stamps. Both of us want to be computer engineers when we grow up.
The next time you come down, please bring T-shirts instead of one; one for Bani and one for me. This will make him very happy. Mummy and Daddy send all their love and wish you all the best in your examinations.
