The importance of the newspapers compared to the TV news channels: Discuss.
Some people argue that reading of newspapers is a waste of time when all news is available in the TV news channels. Moreover, we get the news updated each minute on the TV channels and they are always fresh. They say that by the time the newspapers arrive, it is all full of stale news. Whereas some others say that news channels cannot replace the newspapers. There is a charm in reading a newspaper where we can see and read each and every word in detail. Moreover, the newspapers carry much more information than the TV channels like classifieds, letters to the editors, the editorial page, the business news and sports news. The newspapers also divide the news according to whether they are local, state, national or international. They cover the local advertisements which are not covered by the TV channels In the light of what has been said take the discussion further.

Written word has always made history.Still we feel the loss provided to rich Indian tradition and ocean of knowledge by intruders, when damaged Taxila and Nalanda universities and the like incidents.
News paper, we can take as per our convenience and we can read what ever more interesting to us, while in Television, we are forced to see various objectionable things , and bear with that while we are with family.who many channels would we change, everywhere is seen the same fight for TRP.
While in television ,no control of censer appears, in print media we seldom see any objectionable matter printed.
One evening I went in a book fair in my city, and very next day, we saw our photo in news paper, i tiny reason to smile, and i still have a cut of that page.
what more to say,News paper stored for few months, we can sell to '
'raddiwalah' it gives some bucks even from garbage.
News channels seem to give continuous news, but mostly it is same news repeated hundreds of time that make it awkward to watch continuously same sentences repeatedly.
How ever, we can not deny the importance of live news as we can see incidences as live in TV, and the real gem of TV is live reporting whether it is news, or sports or interviews of celebrities, its 21st century and telecommunication has become strongest technology at our service, still a written peace of word gives us an indescribable satisfaction to our heart!
