Dear diary,

Just like every years Teej tehvar/ ritual, I had a lot of expectations from this years' tradition as well.

Every year we tend to get dressed, me along with all of my girl friends and ladies in our families. We fast on this auspicious day and then celebrate by praising Lord Shiva. Today, in our school teej was celebrated with great pomp. I was very much happy with the decorations of streamers, banners, beautiful combination of flowers and much more. Traditional clothing stalls were set up with henna artists as well. I enjoyed this day a lot and will never forget it.

I hope that all festivals of this year would be celebrated greatly just like today. I must go now.
