TODAY QUESTION IS Q. (a) What are ‘magnetic field lines’? How is the direction of a magnetic field at a point determined ?

magnetic field lines are imaginary lines that represents the magnetic field line across a magnet.

the direction can be determined by placing a compass over the field line. the direction towards which the needle points, is north.
