1.Tolstoy is considered one of the giants of Russian literature; his works include the novels War and Peace and Anna Karenina and novellas such as Hadji Murad and The Death of Ivan Ilyich. ... 2.The bearded man was the brother of the man whom the king had killed and whose property he had grabbed. He had made up his mind to avenge his brother's death.

3.At long last, the king now has the answers to his three questions: The right time to begin something is always now; The most necessary people are the ones that you happen to be with at the present moment; And the most important thing is simply to do good for the person that you're with.
