THE TWO PARTIAL THEORIES ARE:-

1) GENERAL RELATIVITY THEORY ( BY EINSTEIN)

2) QUANTUM MECHANICS ( BY PLANCK)

TO UNDERSTAND THESE THEORIES YOU NEED TO KNOW MANY OTHER THINGS WHICH WILL ULTIMATELY MAKE U UNDERSTAND HOW DOES THESE THEORIES DESCRIBE UNIVERSE AND FOR THIS U NEED HIGHER QUALIFICATIONS

However these two are completely different theories which as per now cannot be linked we are unable to link these theories this is the reason why string theory was made i.e to link these to theories but it was useless.

So if we are able to link these two theories together we get THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING

TO KNOW MORE AND WHAT WAS STEPHEN HAWKING VIEWS ON IT U MUST READ
