Today was a very disheartening day for me as I had the misfortune of witnessing a road accident.
I still can’t believe that people can be so insensitive.
Two young men riding a bike had a head-on collision with a car.
The driver of the car fled as soon as he realised that his car had hit the bike.
While lots of people gathered to see the accident, nobody came forward to help the two boys.
Both were badly injured and were writhing in pain but no one helped.
It was not possible for me to do anything all alone so I immediately called the police.
However, by the time police reached the spot, it was too late.
The two boys died there only.
It still hurts me to think that perhaps they could have been saved had I acted even faster.
