Dear Diary

Today I went to the market around 11 am. It is the busiest hour in the market. There was a lot of traffic on the road. I finished buying some things and came out of the shop. I stood near the road and was waiting for my driver to get the car to pick me up. Just then a there was a loud screeching sound and many vehicles stopped on the road. I turned to see what was the matter. A young boy had been driving his car at a great speed. When he came near a motorbike he could not apply the breaks. His car hit the motorbike. Both the car and the bike were damaged. The rider of the motorbike and the young boy were hurt and were quickly rushed to the hospital.

This is the first time I was a witness to an accident. I was stunned.

I am not able to get over the shock. I strongly feel that such careless youngsters should not be allowed to drive. Strict rules should be imposed regarding driving. License should be given only after rigorous training which should instil the values of safe and steady driving. After receiving training they should become responsible drivers who care for others' and their own safety.

I wish we can have safe drivers and accident free roads.

Answer:

Road Accident Incident

Once I was on my way back home from festive shopping when I witnessed a road accident. I was with my sister and it was around 6 o’ clock in the evening. In the middle of the road, we saw a crowd surrounding something. We weren’t quite sure what was happening as the first thought that came to our mind was that it was probably a quarrel between two men. However, when we reached the spot, we found out an accident had taken place.

After that, we got to know the whole story. A man was crossing the road when a truck hit him leaving him severely injured. The man was lying on the ground bleeding profusely and people were calling for an ambulance. We instantly called up the ambulance but time was running out. Therefore, an auto driver took the man in his auto and rushed to the hospital.
