Dear Diary:

Today we had

a great fun at the school! The school organized a kite flying competition for

classes VI to XII on the eve of Independence Day Celebrations. The students brought

colorful kites and strings. The sky over the school was full of tri-color

kites. I also flew a big tri-color kite and cut the strings of many other

kites. An inter-house kite-flying competition was also held. Bose house

students won the contest by cutting maximum number of kites. The principal

awarded the winners medals and certificates. It was a wonderful day. I will

cherish it for a long time!
