Oh Diary! Today I am very sad..... As we always know that freedom is more precious than Gold , it cant be bought. Think a life , if one of us is caged in a room and is given only food and water. Will we or you be happy. Our answer will always be no. But today I visited the Alipur zoo and saw most of the animals are caged in a small but tall cage where they will only be able to walk.In my opinion if the zoo authority wants really to save the animals from being extict, they would never have kept them in such a place rather would have sent them to a national park or wildlife sanctuary. They are mostly using the animals for economic purposes. As their existance will attract tourisms earn them money. But they are not understanding that if their will be no such animals in future will earn them money? I also decided to write a letter to editor of Anandabazar Patrika regarding this matter. Thats all for today , I have some urgent work.

dear student,
yesterday i had a visit to alipur zoo is in kolkata along with my family.
the i witnessed was that those innocent animals are caged and are not being treated well. even don't have a proper shelter as were getting exhausted due to the heat of the sun.
then comes the food.it seems like the food given to them is not at all a healthy one as were not eating those and were like fed up.it is really a very sad part because if we humans are caged then we would feel.in terms of money and entertainment we are degrading the ecosystem.
