Today, my teacher hit me with a scale because I forgot to do my homework. I really got scared and right now, I don’t want to go back to school. I believe that it is not right for teachers to hit their students. I remember one of my classmates, Johnny. Our teacher hit him last week because he was so noisy. It didn’t change him a bit and only made him a lot more noisy. I think hitting us doesn’t make us a better person. The school is supposed to be a safe and healthy environment and not a place where we are scared and hurt. I think I need to tell my ideas to my parents so they could talk about it with my teacher.

Dear Diary:
I had a bad day today. At school I was beaten by my Math teacher for not completing my homework. I tried to explain her that I tried to do the sums, but could not solve them. She beat me with a steel scale. For a long time I kept feeling the stinging sensation on my palms. I still wonder why teachers indulge in corporal punishment despite being banned legally. I could make a scene of it if I wanted, but I did not go to the principal thinking the teacher meant good to me. I strongly feel, the teachers should not beat the students for any reason. I told it to my mother and she was angry at it too. She says she will talk to the teacher on the PTM. She also scolded me for not doing the homework. That’s all dear diary. Good night.
