Dear diary,
Today I felt awful the whole day because I misplaced the watch presented to me by my Grandfather on my previous birthday. I always feared that this might happen, that is why I never wore it to keep it safe but today is my 13th birthday so I wanted to flaunt it to my classmates. But it is gone now!
I walked back to trace my steps back to school, searched each nook and cranny of the school but could not find it. I asked the school janitor to tell me if he finds a medium-size dialed analog watch anywhere. I also looked in the lost and found box at the school office but I couldn't find it.
I am so afraid to hurt my Grandfather. when he presented me the watch his face lit up, as he owned that watch before me. Hurting his feeling is the last thing that I wanted to do. When I go to school tomorrow, I will start searching again and ask other students about it. I hope Grandfather forgives me for losing his beloved watch.
