dear diary,
Today was an exciting day at school. our class 9th Head teacher had arrange a small workshop on self awareness and it was far beyond what I expected it's to be. to be honest, when I found out about it a week earlier I was not that excited. As a shy person , I try to avoid huge gatherings or places where I might need to speak in front of a number of people. however, my teacher was grateful and never pushed me. the self awareness workshop was conducted by Dr Ayesha who gave us lecture and asked us to perform simple exercises in order to tell us how we can really trust yourself and be aware of who we really are. since I was a kid I always thought I didn't know anything about life, that I was wrong and only elders would know what's best for me.
the workshop was in an eye opener , I felt freedom, I felt I saw the light, it was different experience when Dr Ayesha was actually listening to us, rather than dismiss what we say. no matter how bad we found it, she smiled and approved.
I will talk to my teacher to arrange another workshop with us very soon.
