Award winning songwriter and storyteller and Peak Performance Coach, Mark Shepard uses Drums, Songs and Stories to celebrate the power we all have as individuals to make a positive difference in the world.
This interactive, multicultural school assembly is all about honoring and respecting our differences, accepting each other as we are, building bridges of tolerance, kindness, respect and empathy through music and story as well as discovering the small things we can do every single day to significantly impact the world in a positive, transformational way.
We start with how we interpret the world and what we make things mean in our own internal worlds. Then we explore ways we can appreciate and accept they others may be interpreting our words and actions.
Ultimately we challenge each other to “Change your Mind and Change your life, set said the fear and strife… together we can change the world…”

Originally inspired by the work of an “social entrepreneur” Ginny Dye who went into business specifically to support the HIV orphans in Uganda, and then included in the musical, “Letters To Daddy”, this song was honored with a “Posi Award” in 2014 and is being sung all over the world by school choruses, girl scouts and other organizations working to make the world a better place.

To make our living world more beautiful and better first we all have to out our hands together . we have to help each other and have to create a sense of belongingness towards each other.
