Velocity is a vector quntity that means it is dependent on both direction and magnitude.

Speed is a scalar quantity that is it depends only on magnitude.

So, A body can have varying velocity with constant speed.

For exapmle : you are driving in north direction with speed 30km/hr now you turn right and move in east direction with the same speed 30km/hr and again you take a right turn amd move in south direction with again the same speed 30km/hr. As you can infer that the speed is constant but the direction is changing. This means that the magnitude of velocity ,which is speed, is constant but the direction is changing so we say that velocity is changing but the speed is constant.

Another example is of an object executing uniform circular motion in which its speed is constant but the direction (along the tangent) is varrying at every point, so its velocity is varying.
