Hi!!!!!!

x - y = 2...........1

x=y+2

3x – 2y = 16............2

Substitute x=y+2

in equation 2

3x – 2y = 16

3×(y+2)-2y=16

3y+6-2y=16

y+6=16

y=16-6

y=10

Substitute y=10 in eqution 1

x - y = 2

x-10=2

x=2+10

x=12
