emma and tom of total of 100g of chocolate.

weight of chocolate with emma = 40g

weight of chocolate with tom = 60g

total weight of chocolate with them= weight of chocolate with emma + weight of chocolate with tom

total weight of chocolate with them = 40g + 60g

total weight of chocolate with them = 100g

According to the information provided in the question.

It is stated in the preceding question that,

The presented information is chocolate bar weight of tom is 60g,

Chocolate bar weight of emma is 40g

We need to find the total weight of chocolate bar,

As a result, the altogether weight of chocolate is as follow,

The total weight is equal to weight of chocolate bar of tom plus weight of chocolate bar with emma.

Total weight=60+40\\=100g

Hence altogether Emma and Tom have 100g of chocolate.
