tomatoes are red and its leaves are green. why?

Basically it's because, different parts of the plant have different pigments for different functions. The leaves have chlorophyll that help for photosynthesis whereas the fruit is red due to the pre existing flower pigments to attract insects and such.

because all plants leaves are green.Obviously the leaves of their fruit or vegetable are green
