Hii,

Here is your answer ⤵️

Tombi's present age: x years.

Mother's present age 3x years.

after 10 years,

Tombi's age: x+10 years.

Mother's age : 3x+10 years.

According to question,

3x+10= 2×(x+10)

=> 3x +10 = 2x +20

=> 3x-2x =20-10

=> x=10

Tombi's present age is 10 years.

His mother's age after 10 years will be:

3x+10 = 3×10 +10 =40 years.

Or,

2(x+10) = 2x +20 = 40 years.

Your answer is :

3x +10 and 2x+20

Hope it helps....

Answer:

Tombi's mothers age after 10 years = (3x+10) years

after solving,

Tombi's mothers age after 10 years = 40 years

Step-by-step explanation:

present ages:

tombi= x years

tombi's mother= 3x years

ten years hence,

tombi's age= (x+10) years

tombi's mothers age= (3x+10) years

According to the given equation,

3x+10 = 2(x+10)

3x+10 = 2x+20

3x-2x = 20-10

x = 10

hence, tombi's mothers age after 10 years= 3x10+10

                                                                      =30+10 = 40 years
