Too much of everything is bad essay

Excess of everything is bad. We should avoid it. It is good to love a child but if we love him too much, he is likely to be spoilt. He is apt to go wrong and form bad habits. Thus the middle course is always the best. We should love a child but if he persists in his wrong ways and habits, we must admonish him, too.

It is beneficial to take exercise daily. But if we have too much of it, we may fall ill. Exercise within proper limits does good but exercise in excess does more harm than good. Professional wrestlers have aching limbs in their old age.

Too much of everything is bad.

  • "Ati sarvatra varjate" this statement in Sanskrit means that excess of everything is bad.
  • When we were child we used to eat chocolates very much. Our parents forbid us to not eat. Later we faced cavities in our teeth. Then we realised that eating chocolates is not good for us. This is a simple example.
  • But when we look at this from the bigger perspective in economic, social, political, environmental issues. We wI'll understand this properly.
  • In economics we have seen that few countries in our neighborhood like Sri Lanka and Pakistan started to provide freebies to their population, to please their people. They gain popularity but after some time we saw the economy of these countries cracking down.
  • So, we can see this in our daily life and realise that too much of everything is bad.
