Tooth enamel is made up of Calcium Carbonate which starts corroded when the mouths pH is lower than 5.3 . The role of bacteria present in our mouth is that they helps in protecting our mouth from infectious things which came from outside and helps in secretion of enzyme sometimes .....

Hey mate..

Here's your answer..

=========================================================

Tooth enamel is the outermost covering of teeth...It is made
up of ✳CALCIUM CARBONATE✳..

The sugars and the acids present in the food we eat remain
in our buccal cavity ...the acids released spoil our teeth.

When the pH of our mouth falls below 5.5 tooth decaying may
begin...

❇There are some bacteria, however, that we'd rather do without,
since they cause tooth decay and gum disease. Streptococcus
mutans is the bacteria you've probably heard the most about.
It lives in yourmouth and feeds on the sugars and starches that
you eat.❇

⭕PREVENTION:

We use toothpaste which are alkaline in nature and neutralise
the acids.
