Tooth enamel is the hardest substance in our body. at what ph of mouth it gets corroded? state the role of bacteria present in mouth. suggest a method to prevent tooth decay.

Answer: Around 5.5 pH our dental enamel gets corroded.

The bacteria which enter after eating some sugary foods, stick onto our tooth and produce acids to dissolve the enamel.

Then they finally enter the pulp of our tooth.

This is called tooth decay and it causes some shock sensation in our mouth when we eat some  cold things like ice cream.

To prevent tooth decay we should brush our teeth twice a day.
