Tooth enamel is the hardest substance in our body, how does it undergo damage due to eating chocolates and sweets? What should we do to prevent it

As we know that the tooth has certain bacteria which produces acid. The acid first dissolves the calcium salts from the top part enamel of the tooth and certainly from the middle part dentine it form holes called cavity. These holes ultimately reaches the pulp cavity, the lower part of the tooth contains nerve and blood cells . The acid irritates the nerve endings causing tooth ache
For prevention we should brush r teeth daily twice.
