Step-by-step explanation:

Let say father age = F Years

Son Age = 35 -F Years  

FS = 150

F (35 - F) = 150

=> 35F - F² = 150

=> F² - 35F + 150 = 0

=> F² -30F -5F + 150 = 0

=> F(F-30) -5(F-30) = 0

=> (F-5)(F-30) = 0

=> F = 5 & F = 30

Father Age = 30 Years   ( F can not be 5 as Son can not be elder than Father)

Son Age = 35 - 30 = 5 Years
