Our school planned an outing for one day as a refreshment for the students. The school decided that students should visit an amusement park and all that can be remembered from the visit was fun. We visited Wonderla the second weekend of our Summer holidays.
All the group of students were accompanied by the staff of the school which were taking great care of them. We reached our school and from there, all the students gathered and went on to the bus to go the Amusement Park. During the ride, students were desperate to reach the park as this was the first time the school had decided for visit like this. We reached there in about 30 minutes around the time noon.
There were around 300 students which were divided into a group of 60. The group in which I was in went to the roller coaster ride. I enjoyed the ride to the bits and I could not forget the feeling that I was having during the time. It was a memorable moment. Then our group went to the Pirate Ship which was suspended into the air. It was also a fun ride. After few rides, we went to the restaurant, to again energize ourselves.
On our way back, we had ice cream which was simply amazing in the summer. Just around the time when the sun was setting and it was getting dark, we were on the buses and thinking how great the day was. The experience was utterly an unforgettable one and would reaming with us throughout our lives for sure.

A Visit to an Amusement Park
Our school organized a picnic for class 3rd last Saturday. The yellow school buses, fully packed with students and teachers headed for Hardy’s World Water Park. The students were extremely excited to reach the destination. All the students kept singing songs in the bus till they reached the venue.
Students were welcomed by the front office department by applying ’tilak’ on their foreheads. After entering the gate, we all were served soft drinks followed with breakfast of idli chutney, poha, and paranthas. The next event was a magic show which all students looked forward to. The magician performed some amazing tricks which both students and teachers enjoyed a lot.
The students were just excited to get into the water. The first water activity they did was descend into the Kiddies Pool along with the teachers. The pool began to echo with the shouts and joyous screams of children. The next activity was Rain Dance. Tiny tots danced on the wet wooden floor while the artificial rain kept falling on them. The most thrilling was the Speed Slide ride. The ride started from a height of 15 storey building and as children slid down this steeply sloping chute into a sparkling puddle of crystal clear water.
Another attractive activity of the picnic was the boat ride in the nearby ‘Swati Lake’. It is such a beautiful lake that I had never seen the like of it before. All around it were green mountains. The water of the lake was crystal clear. Where it was not deep, one could see the bottom and many species of colourful fish swimming in it.
The school buses started homeward journey at about 54p.m. At about 6 p.m. the buses entered the school campus. The parents had already been waiting for their children. Everyone had a big smile on their faces indicating they had had a great fun.
