Explanation:

It is nice, sunny weather, where I'm right now standing at the NDRS - New Delhi Railway Station. Actually, me and my family arrived to receive my mother. She will be returning from Agra very soon, via Gatimaan Express. There is a big board, and platform 09 is inscribed on the big plywood.

It is a very crowded place; hawkers hawking different items, food stalls, book shops etc. There is also a bright sparkling weighting machine, I like it very much! Some people are sitting on a carpet which is laid down on the floor. Might be their train got delayed. That's the problem in winters; trains getting delayed due to fog.

There are long, moving escalators, and potters are carrying loads of suitcases on their heads. Some are running at the opposite side to catch the running train. The local trains are somewhat overcrowded because it is a daily come and go train. But overall, I feel really nostalgic and adventurous!

It is 12:30 p.m. , Friday , November 12, 2021. I am standing at platform number 1, waiting for Shatabdi Express to arrive from Delhi. My mother is returning from attending a wedding function. All around me there is noise. The announcer is incessantly announcing the arrival, departure of trains along with the train numbers and their arrival and departure timing. She is repeating the information about the delayed trains. My mother's train is also delayed by an hour. People are waiting for the train to arrive. Trains are arriving very slowly at different platforms. The platforms begin to team with human activities as the train stops and thousands of passenger get off and on them. An electrical cleaning vehicle with mop is cleaning and mopping the platform. The tracks are awfully dirty and unhygienic. They are stinking badly.
