Coordinating Conjunctions :- The joining words that join two words, phrases, sentences or clauses of equal status are called Coordinating Conjunctions.

The kinds of connecters are divided into four categories:-

(a) Conjunction of Addition :-

This type of conjunction join the words, phrases or clauses in additive sense.

1. Sachin as well as Preeti is Intelligent.

2. Sachin and Preeti played together.

3. Sachin is a actor and cricketer too.

(b) Conjunction of Contrast :-

This types of Conjunction join the words, phrases or clauses in contrastive sense.

1. I bought a scooty but did not ride it.

2. Pojja is rich still she is not contented.3. He wants to join company but not yet.

(C) Conjunction of Choice :-

This type of conjunction joins the sentences to provide two alternatives of which one is to be chosen.

1.Either she is fool or she is ignorant.

2.Pay attention to your studies or you will fail.

(D) Conjunction of logic :-

This type of conjunction join two sentences that express results.

1. The baby is crying for the milk.

2. I am hungry so I need something to eat.

↬Conjunction of Addition : You can show addition in written English in a number of equivalent forms. This includes the use of, subordinating conjunctions, coordinating conjunctions, introductory words such as in addition, moreover, etc.

↬Conjunction of Contrast : Contrast conjunctions connect ideas and clauses that contrast. The following words and phrases are contrast conjunctions: but, although, though, even though, even if, while, in spite of, while, whilst, whereas. They do not connect two independent (main) clauses.

↬Conjunction of Choice : In English grammar, coordinating conjunctions especially conjunctions for alternative choices are used to express a situation of two choices by using either or and neither nor. Herein, I'm going to describe contrast and similarity between two conjunctions– either or and neither nor conjunction for alternative choices.

↬Conjunction of Logic : When two statements are combined with an 'and,' you have a conjunction. For conjunctions, both statements must be true for the compound statement to be true.
