Ever since the pandemic started, a lot of changes have been taking place. People started gathering lesser, students switched to online classes, the governments announced lockdowns, everybody starting to become more conscious about their health and hygiene, the list goes on. Coming to the topic, COVID-19 has for sure impacted education and ethics. A lot of students sit at home and attend online classes through their devices now. It may have been difficult to cope up with since this act alone has its own merits and demerits. Students can avoid face-to-face contact, which would reduce their chances of attaining the virus. Students, however, might have to deal with having to study alone. A lot of students have found it hard to clear their doub‎ts/ask questions. Some find it hard to be at home and learn, where there are no friends. Students may have taken to cheating on online tests/quizzes, later on resulting in increased doub‎ts on higher marks being obtained than usual. However, in the end, there really is no choice but to remain grateful for being alive so far and being able to still see friends on screens. As to the virus's impact on ethics, well, that has its own merits and demerits too. People may have started to become more self-dependent and develop new skills, thereby improving creativity and thinking. People may have started to take their health and well-being seriously. People may have taken this as an opportunity to develop on the technological side and explore options. Coming to demerits, people may or may not have started to become self-endorsed and addicted to gadgets. People may have developed an aura of distance, not from the virus, but from other people, avoiding social interactions, or a chance to socialize. People may have become lazier due to fewer outings too. In the end, these are all learning experiences and it's up to us to decide how we want to deal with the impact of the virus.
