ANS  - 1

Let one side be x and other 2x

Area of tapezium = 1/2 * (sum of parallel sides) * height

which gives area = 1/2 * (x + 2x)(6) = 45

This gives us x = 5

Therefore, the length of parallel sides is 5cm and 10cm

ANS  - 2

Area of trapezium = 1/2 * (sum of parallel sides) * height

                                     = 1/2 * (30 + 40) * (10)

                                     = 70 * 5

                                     = 350 sq. m

ANS  - 3

Let the two diagonals be x and y.

Given, x/y = 2/3

which gives us

x = 2y/3

Now, x + y = 15 = (2y/3) + y

                          = 5y /3

Now, the diagoals are 9cm and 6cm

Area of rhombus = 1/2 * product of diagonals

                            = 1/2 * 9 * 6

                            = 27 sq. cm

Hope it helps
