Answer:

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was India's first law and justice minister after Independence. He was born on 14th April 1891 and died on 6th December 1956. He fought for the rights of the Dalits and women. He was also an important member who helped to form the constitution. He wanted each and every citizen of India to get equal rights to education. For him, education is the only way by which equality can be spread in India. He wanted to end the discrimination on the basis of caste and religion. In order to bring equality, he proposed the system of reservation for the low caste and for the women. He wanted India to progress and not lag behind. His death anniversary is observed as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Din or death anniversary to pay tribute and honor to him. On this day a large number of people visit the Parliament house complex to pay their tribute to Baba Saheb.
