sayandeb: find the perimeter and diagonal of a square whose area is equal to the area of a rectangle whose length is 16cm and breadth is 4cm.

area of rectangle = lenght x breath
                         =16x4
                         =64
area of square = area of rectangle
               side²=64
side = √8²
side=8
by pythogres thereom
diagonal=√side²+side²
            =√8²+8²
            =√64+64
            =√128
            =√64.√2
            =√8².√2
            =8.√2
            =8 x 1.414
            =11.312
