Answer:
It was 2017, I went along with my family and our friends to the France coast. Before we got on the ship, we drove to a huge castle located on the north coast of France, near the border of Brittany and Normandy st. Michel. It's a medieval monument built on a small islet and connected to the mainland by a causeway. Six times in a year, the inflow of ocean, cases that the water is surrounding the whole island. Mont Saint-Michel was built in a strong rock, it measures 84 meters in height. It is pure granite and is so hard that has resisted from the 13th century. It was built as a medieval castle and has two large towers to defend the entrance to the castle. In the centre of the islet, there is a cloister with a high tower with a gold sculpture of st. Michel on a top. All towers and other buildings resemble a pyramid. From the cloister, you can see a wonderful view of the sandy desert or on the ocean in the inflow.
Old, rock walls with overgrowing plants and the absence of cars make a magnificent atmosphere. If there were no tourists with cameras one would think that we are still in the 15th century.
I recommend this place, especially that certainly is one of the most beautiful monuments built by a human.
