When I gave my English ASL, me and most of the students chose their hobbies as the topic.

You can also decide the topic on what you like doing, the current situation, ever existing problems, nature, animals etc. etc.

But if you can't decide what to choose, here are some topics that might help you :-

1) Sports

2) Environment

3) Modern generation ; video games, mobile, online learning

4) Online education ( Covid 19)

5) Music ; culture ; tourism

6) Drinking and driving

7) Child Labour : poverty ; drug addiction ; corruption

8) Punctuality

9) Internet

10) A little knowledge is a dangerous thing

11) Beggars cannot be choosers

Also, if you really want to put in an effort then you could use a saying (like points 10 and 11) and elaborate on it. It would make for a great ASL topic. Otherwise common topics are generally what everyone chooses.....
