Total cost of 6 pens and 4 pencils is Rs 60. Total cost of 4 pencils is Rs 40. Then what will be the cost of one pen and one pencil?

The cost of 4 pencil = 40

the cost of each pencil is 40/4 = 10

And 2 pen also ( 60-40) = 20 rupees

so the cost of 1 pen is = 20/ 2 = 10
