ANSWERS:

A + B = 1500

A spent 90% and B spent 80%

Expediture ratio of A and B

A : B = 90 : 80 = 9 : 8

Savings ration of A and B

A : B = 3 : 4

Income ratio = Expenditure ratio + Savings ratio

A : B = ( 9 + 3 ) : ( 8 + 4 )

A : B = 12 : 12 = 1 : 1

Salary of A = (1/2) x 1500 = 750 Rs

Salary of B = (1/2) x 1500 = 750 Rs

Hence salary of A is 750 Rs and B is 750 Rs
