\Large{\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\:to\:the\:Question}}}}

If the angle of incidence in denser medium is greater than critical angle (C), then the ray is reflected back into the first denser medium this phenomenon is refer as total internal reflection

SinC = μ rarer / μ denser

SinC = 1 / r μ d

★For total energy internal reflection, it is necessary that :-

1. Light ray should go to rarer medium from denser medium.

2. Angle of incidence in denser medium should be greater than critical angle.
