given that,   4 x + 3 (23 - x)  = 81

                  4 x + 69 - 3 x = 81

                                x    = 81 - 69

                                      =  12

∴ total number of wheels of cars  =  12 x 4

                                                      = 48

(b)  Number of cars  =  x

                                 =  12

      No, of rickshaws  =  23 - x

                                   = 23 - 12

                                 =  11
