Molar mass of CH4 = 16 g mol-1
Molar mass of H2O = 18 g mol-1
No of electrons in one mole = 6.022×1023 electrons
No of electrons in 1 mole (16 g) of CH4 = 6.022×1023 electrons
No of electrons in (0.1 mole) 1.6 g of CH4 = 6.022×1022 electrons
No of electrons in 1 mole (18 g) of H2O = 6.022×1023 electrons
No of electrons in (0.1 mole) 1.8 g of H2O = 6.022×1022 electrons

Therefore, the total no of electrons are same.
