its easy ...let see....,

molecular weight of MgO is (24+16)= 40 gm

so,

40 gm of MgO contains 6.022 ×10²³ number of molecules......

then 200 gm contains 200/40 ×6.022×10²³ numbers of molecules = 5×6.022×10²³ no.

Now there is 12 electrons in 1 Mg atom and 8 electrons in 1 oxygen atom. so, there are total 20 electrons in 1 MgO molecule.

now total number of electron in 5x6.022x10²³ numbers of MgO molecule is

20 ×5×6.022×10²³ = 100×6.022×10²³

= 6.022×10^25

HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU........☺️

Given,

Mass of the given MgO is = 200 grams

To find,

The number of electrons in the given amount of MgO.

Solution,

We can easily solve this mathematical problem by using the concept of Avogadro Number. From this concept we came to know that 1 mole amount of any substance contains 6.022×10²³ number of molecules.

Molecular weight of MgO = (24+16) = 40 grams

So,

40 grams of MgO will contain = 6.022 × 10²³ molecules

1 gram of MgO will contain = (6.022×10²³)/40 molecules

200 grams of MgO will contain = (6.022×10²³×200)/40 = 6.022×10²³×5 = 30.11×10²³ molecules

Now, 1 molecule of MgO contains

= (12+8)

= 20 electrons

1 molecule of MgO = 20 electrons

30.11×10²³ molecules of MgO = 20×30.11×10²³ = 602.2×10²³

Hence, there will be 602.2×10²³ electrons in 200 grams of MgO.
