Total number of employees in a multinational company is 1600 out of which 450 are females and the rest our
males. Find the ratio of
(a) number of males to the total number
of employees;
(b) number of males to the number of females

total no. of employees=1600

no. female = 450

no. of male = 1600-450=1150

1. ratio of males to total employees :

=1150/1600

=23/32

2.ratio of males to females :

=1150/450

=23/9
